After a tough winter of rewiring the Electromotive tec3, shipping the shocks to ProPartsUSA to have Guy Ankeny rebuild the Penske shocks, it was finaly time to put the car to the real test. San Deigo National Tour, some of the fastest competitors for CSP would be there.
The practice went well with only a couple noise warnings and a fresh set of Hoosier A6s scrubbed in. Tom, Kathy and I were set for the weekend.

The largest class of the weekend, C Street Prepared, was won by Scott Fraser, of San Jose, Calif. Fraser’s Siastuning/A.R.E. Mazda Miata took a 0.908-second win over the MiataRoadster.com/HiDef Racing Mazda Miata of defending National Champion Bill Schenker, from Los Angeles, who might have had a better shot had it not been for those four cone penalties.
